Daily News 5 Alarm Cookoff winner Khalid Baylor brought a new Southern sizzle to the Old Homestead Thursday. Guests including New York Giant Stevie Brown and FDNY Commissioner Sal Cassano couldn’t get enough of the Ladder 14 firefighter’s with Old Homestead co-owner Marc Sherry, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, the recipe that won borough bragging rights on the “Rachael Ray” show. Good food for a great cause: 20% of the proceeds went to the FDNY Foundation.
